Highly rated by the AA and by Charmance,
the B&B association of the Gîtes de France network,
the British-run Manoir de Kercadic offers spacious, attractively
priced accommodation plus optional evening meals, for couples, families
and friends. Guests are accommodated in suites, each of which has
its own independent access from the courtyard; most suites
are on two levels. Each suite accommodates between 2 and 5 people
and has a ground floor bedroom and sitting area, with a private
bath- or shower room and toilet plus additional bed(s) upstairs.
Whilst they are not self-catering, each suite has tea- and coffee-making
facilities.
Breakfast and evening meals are served in the restaurant in the
main house, where there is also a fully-licensed residents’
bar serving spirits, lagers, beers, local cider plus a range of
alcoholic and soft drinks. Our optional evening meals are freshly
prepared each day using local, seasonal ingredients wherever possible.
In addition to a range of à la carte dishes, there
is a set four-course menu which also offers very good value for
money (See sample menus page). Our wine
list caters for every budget, ranging from honest, value-for-money
house wines to high-quality bottles from many of the well-known
French wine-growing areas. Vegetarian and children’s options
are cooked to order; please discuss your requirements with us when
booking.
We have
extensive grounds with play areas for children and there is a patio
area where guests can relax in the tranquil, rural setting. Upstairs
in the barn, there is an indoor games room with table football,
table tennis and a comfortable seating area.
We
are located just outside the village of Squiffiec, 12 km north
of the market town of Guingamp in the beautiful Côtes d’Armor
region of Brittany and only 30 minutes from the Pink Granite coast.
The Manoir de Kercadic is an ideal location for a relaxing, stress-free
break or a family holiday. It is also a superb base for those
seeking property in Brittany.
