From St MALO to the MANOIR de KERCADIC (GPS: Lat 48.38.14N or 48.6372  Long 3.09.07W or -3.1523)

After leaving the Ferry terminal, follow the green signs Toutes Directions straight on at the first two roundabouts, and then through several sets of lights. After the next roundabout keep to the right hand lane to follow a right exit indicated to Rennes, Dinard.

Continue to follow the direction Rennes, Caen, Dinard through more sets of lights, and then 'Toutes Directions' at the roundabout on the dual carriageway. Shortly after, you will see the sign to show that you are leaving St Malo.

You will then be presented with an exit to Dinard which you should ignore, but take the Dol de Bretagne, Dinan, Rennes exit off to the right. This takes you around a long curve onto a dual carriageway. Stay on this road for a while, with excellent views of the upper reaches of the Rance river to your right.

Follow the signs to Dinan until you see the exit indicated Dinan, Vannes, St Brieuc, which you should take. Ignore any signs to Dinan town centre, and stay on the N176 in the direction of St Brieuc.

You will join the N12 near Lamballe, and should still be heading towards St Brieuc.

Stay on the N12 heading towards Brest as you by-pass St Brieuc, and you will soon see signs for Guingamp.

About 15-20 minutes after passing St Brieuc you will see a sign showing Guingamp 7km, then 2 km later the C10 exit, then after a further 2 km the D5 Bellevue exit which you should take.

As you leave the N12 at the D5 exit be prepared for the give way sign some 300 metres up the exit slip road. Immediately after this take the right turn in the direction of Paimpol, Pontrieux.

Go straight across the next two roundabouts, following signs to Pabu. This puts you on a newly created by-pass for about 2 minutes, at the end of which is a third roundabout where you take the right exit - the D787 marked to Pabu, Pontrieux.

You will shortly pass the village sign for Pabu, but don't follow the right turn to Pabu centre, stay on the main road through Pabu and down the long hill after leaving the village.

In another minute you will come to a cross-roads with a restaurant on the right (The Ty Coat), there is a small island in the centre of the road, and you should pull over to take the left turn to Squiffiec. Follow this road as it crosses the river and you will arrive at the cross-roads in the centre of Squiffiec in another minute or so. There is a bar (The Garfield) at the cross roads where you turn right.

After 300 metres take the right turn indicated to Manoir de Kercadic. After 100 metres turn left, and after a further 300 metres turn right.

You will then see the dolmen and Manoir de Kercadic on your left.
